Wardrobe Essentials for stylish ladies

No matter you weight, height or age, any stylish woman over 30 needs these classic items in their wardrobe to throw together a stylish outfit in minutes. If you have these items you can never complain that you have nothing to wear, and we all have said that at least 3 times this week alone! :-)

Here are a few of my favorite items. They are unmissable in my own wardrobe and I swear by them.

(List of where to buy at the bottom)

The Little Black Dress

No buts, you have to have at least two of these. Last minute party or date, you must have a this trusty go-to in your closet.

The Cardigan

Get these in all your favorite colours and a black and beige one is simply unmissble. A longer style to the hips flatters most figures.

A Classica Blazer

These don't have to be boring, oh no! You can get them in all kinds of colours, not just black and navy. Personally I do not like white because it looks like you are a dentist assistant, but any colour would do. You can add a flower or pin to give it a bit of flair and show your personality. Go for a good, tailerd fit that will give you a nice waiste line.

Scarf

Whether you are wearing a white blouse or a black tank top, a scarf can make outfit specials. A pop of colour or a chic gold scarf can turn your outfit from casual to posh in seconds.

The Tunic

I love these because you can cover your hips and butt and still look stylish. Definately one of my essentials! You can wear them with jeans or leggings (just make sure they are long enough because LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS) or you can wear them as a dress if you have nice legs. Also a very usefull garment for throwing over a swimsuit or bikini.

Denim Skirt

You can dress it up, you can dress it down. Long or short or micro mini, definately something you need in your wardrobe.

Wedge heels

I have flat feet and can't wear normal heels for long periods of times so I had to improvise. Also if you have a job where you have to walk or stand a lot, these are PERFECT for you. They offer support unlike normal heels. They give you the hight like normal heels but won't tire you out as quikly. They look very stylish and cute and you can combine them with jeans, dresses or skirts.

The Body (Leotard)

These tops are fantastic for the absolutely horrible fashion that is the *Skinny/low cut jeans* (shudders) So you don't want your butt crack hanging out when you bend over, these are PERFECT for you. You get loads of different styles, v-necks, rounds necks and polo necks. Long sleeves, tank tops and T-shirt sleeves... They are easy and you can pull a shirt over them, a sweater or a fancy see through, Chiffon blouse.
  • Bolero (Shrug)

What can I say? Quik, easy and practical! These little tops are small enough to fit in your bag so when it cools down in the summer you can just pull them on over a tank top or T-shirt. The are casual but you get so many varaities. Silk or lace ones for formal wear, black sparkly ones for evening wear, jacket type ones for the office. Really, you can't live without these. You really can't. :-)
